Ballarat Community Safety Patrols
Z Protection Services subsidises a dedicated patrol presence across Ballarat's public spaces. We carry part of the cost ourselves so the service runs at below commercial rates and stays available to the community rather than to a single paying client.

Where security is the help that is needed
Our expertise in security can be a lifeline for those in vulnerable situations. Two of our programs are provided free of charge, funded entirely by us.

Domestic Violence Support
We provide free assistance to victims of domestic violence in the form of dedicated security patrols. Everyone has the right to feel safe in their own home, and we offer these patrols to provide an extra layer of protection during the most difficult times.

Non-Profit Protection
We provide free security patrols to non-profit organisations so these groups can focus their limited resources on their primary mission rather than on protecting their premises. Over the past year we covered twelve non-profit organisations, allowing them to operate safely without diverting funds from essential work.

We are progressively reducing our carbon footprint by optimising patrol routes to lower emissions and adopting digital reporting systems to eliminate paper waste. We also maintain a transparent supply chain, ensuring every vendor we work with adheres to strict ethical labour practices and shares our commitment to human rights.
